‘Boasting in Christ’: A call for Christians to embrace a ‘rainbow rebellion’
‘Boasting in Christ’: A call for Christians to embrace a ‘rainbow rebellion’

American children are still being indoctrinated in the false narrative that, unless they are accepting of a genderless society, they are at risk of being labeled unwelcoming, unloving, and disrespectful toward others.
Still, in a piece published Sunday at Blaze Media, Chris Enloe called for Christians to finally take back their “stolen” rainbow.
“As the most holy secular celebration — a month-long altar call to the gods of sexual identity and self-expression, complete with its own liturgies, saints, and sacraments — Pride Month claims to be a celebration of liberation and truth,” Enloe wrote. “But beneath the rainbows and glitter lies a dark reality: Pride Month is a demonstration of our culture’s complete rebellion against God.”
Under the identity politics-ravaged Biden administration, the month of June became a full-blown celebration of gender ideology – often led by former top Health and Human Services (HHS) official Rachel (born Richard) Levine – a man who claims to be a woman.
In June 2023, Levine actually declared an extension of “Pride Month” to the entire summer:
Trans HHS Assistant Secretary Rachel Levine: "Happy Pride Month, and actually, let's declare it a summer of Pride. Happy summer of Pride."

A week wasn't enough.
Now a month isn't enough either.

Enloe pointed out that, for the most part, the Bible condemns pride, except when Saint Paul, for example, instructed the Corinthians to “boast in the Lord.” (1 Corinthians 1:31; cf. Jeremiah 9:24)
But this month, Enloe argued, “Christians have a choice.”
“We can be quiet, keeping our convictions hidden while silently hoping that no one asks us if we are a fellow Pride parishioner or an ‘ally,’” he observed. “Or we can fight fire with fire, reclaiming the very thing the LGBTQ lobby has monopolized: pride.”
“Not pride in sin — the kind God hates — but pride in truth,” Enloe emphasized.
“Let us, therefore, boast in God’s design: God made us in His image, male and female,” he urged. “Let us boast in God’s vision for marriage: He created marriage to be a lifelong, sacred, one-flesh union between one man and one woman … Let us boast in our identity … in the identity that God has given us in Christ.”
The battle of “boasting in the Lord,” however, must be fought on several fronts, the most challenging in those spaces where children are still being indoctrinated.
Despite a withdrawal from “Pride Month” celebrations by major corporations and retailers, some organizations and public school districts, supported by activist groups, are still caving to the LGBT agenda as they push for no boundaries on sexuality and gender identity – under the guise of being “welcoming” and “accepting.”
The Sesame Street organization kicked off “Pride Month” by posting that very narrative on the X platform.
“On our street, everyone is welcome,” Sesame Street declared. “Together, let’s build a world where every person and family feels loved and respected for who they are.”

The X account of Libs of TikTok reported on several of the pride celebrations in taxpayer-funded schools.
Kansas’ Lawrence Public Schools’ board president promoted an LGBTQ pride parade featuring “drag shows, pride crafts, pride themed snacks, and pride performances.”

Arlington, Virginia, public schools were also reported to have published a video celebrating LGBTQ “Pride Month,” one that “promotes trans propaganda, made-up pronouns, and ‘affirming’ students’ gender transition,” Libs of TikTok observed.

A similar celebration of pride was reported in Pittsburgh Public Schools:

This is absolutely disgusting.
Why is this still going on in our schools?

The Trump administration has demonstrated its willingness to fight the battle. The US, it was announced, will not recognize or proclaim “Pride Month.”
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Tuesday that President Donald Trump is “proud to be a president for all Americans.”
That message was welcomed by Moms for Liberty:

“Let’s hope that school districts across America follow the lead of the Trump Administration,” the group posted to X, calling, instead, for June to be declared “parental rights month” in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the landmark Supreme Court ruling in Pierce v. Society of Sisters, which enshrined the fundamental rights of parents to direct their children’s education and rearing.

Secretary of Education Linda McMahon announced Monday that her department would now recognize June as “Title IX Month” in recognition of the 53rd anniversary of the Title IX federal civil rights measure.
“The Department is recognizing June as ‘Title IX Month’ to honor women’s hard-earned civil rights and demonstrate the Trump Administration’s unwavering commitment to restoring them to the fullest extent of the law,” McMahon said in a statement. “Title IX provides women protections on the basis of sex in all educational activities, which include their rights to equal opportunity in sports and sex-segregated intimate spaces, including sororities and living accommodations.”
“This Administration will fight on every front to protect women’s and girls’ sports, intimate spaces, dormitories and living quarters, and fraternal and panhellenic organizations,” the secretary added.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) also announced May 29 that the agency would not be spending taxpayer funds for “Pride Month” celebrations.
“The FBI’s shift away from taxpayer-funded Pride Month theatrics is a win for efficiency,” said the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) X account.
Referring to the false narrative of the radical Left, the post went on to point out that, “[u]nder Biden, agents wasted time and resources on rainbow flags and parades instead of tackling real threats. Now, under Trump’s leadership, the bureau is refocusing on its core mission: protecting Americans, not pandering to political agendas.”
“This isn’t about exclusion—it’s about ending the D.C. habit of diverting public funds into performative activism,” the post asserted. “When agencies prioritize optics over outcomes, everyone loses. Cut the virtue signaling, crush the bloat, and let law enforcement do its job.”

As CatholicVote reported, one Republican lawmaker, Rep. Mary Miller of Illinois, filed a resolution with the US House to cancel “Pride Month” and call June “Family Month” instead.

“Americans are sick of watching rebellion and perversion be glorified as normal,” Miller stated. “It’s time to reclaim June as Family Month.”
“Christians,” Enloe wrote, “must stand faithfully on God’s truth with boldness and resolve.”
“This Pride Month, let us take pride in God’s truth and boast in Christ,” he urged. “Not because we hate, but because we know the truth — and because we know that God’s way is the righteous path that leads to life.”
