Season 1Episode 5
I Raced a Motorcycle 100 Miles in The Desert With No Experience
Tom enters the Biltwell 100, a 100-mile motorcycle race through the California desert, with almost no experience and a lot to learn. Before the race, he heads to Ohio to learn the basics, meets riders willing to teach him the ropes, and slowly discovers a culture built on grit, risk, mechanical skill, brotherhood, and a deep love of the open road.
In this episode of Tom Across America, Tom doesn’t just try to survive a desert race — he steps into the world of American motorcycle culture and finds out why so many people are willing to endure dust, danger, and pain for the freedom of the ride.
